Description

The GR8830 is a highly-integrated, low startupcurrent, current mode PWM controller withGreen-mode function. This function enables thepower supply to easily meet even the strictestpower conservation requirements. The integratedfunctions also include the leading-edge blankingof the current sensing, internal slopecompensation, cycle-by-cycle peak currentlimiting, and soft start. OLP, OCP and OVPprovide protection performance for fault conditions.For protecting the external power MOSFET frombeing damaged by supply over voltage, theGR8830 OUT pin voltage is clamped to about13V.The GR8830 improves the performance andreduces the cost of power supplies. It is with bothDIP-8 and SOT-26 package.
